why the fuck does everyone in the purge movies want to kill people if crime was legal i’d find a way to erase my student debt and also probably steal a bunch of new clothes
Get a new iMac for my graphics and photography.
I’d steal all the makeup from sephora like gurl please.
This breaks my heart everytime…
Her acting skills. Brilliant
This 1 minute scene said more about the stoic, Lacey Porter than the entire fucking series. Kylie Bunbury is too good for Twisted IMO.
buttononyourlips since you gave me Dacey feels the other day.
This made my heart hurt.
WHAT IF AT THE END WE HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN CHRISTA OR BONNIE AND MIKE
NO BUT SERIOUSLY CAN WE STOP SAYING SHIT LIKE THIS ITS SO HARMFUL AND FUCKED UP AND RACIST
Actually its not racist. No one’s saying it because they both just so happen to be black.
Okay, I’m gong to say this and I will tag you in it so you see it. lgbtwdg
I am a black woman and I have experienced racism first hand. My friends have experienced racism, my parents, grandparents etc and I have seen it happen. Saying two people look similar does not mean you are a racist. Someone just might think they look similar, its all personal opinion. My post is at the bottom. I was not saying that Lee and Mike are the same person, just to clear that up. I was trying to say that Mike could have been based on lee’s model in mind, made into a younger version and made him look like Mike. Again, please keep in mind that I said that they looked similar because I thought the shape of their hair cut was the same (since before when I said this, people wanted to get technical) and that some of their features look the same. I didn’t say some in that post but as the backlash went on I explained myself a bit further which was still met with angry people. Mike still looks like Mike, and yes Lee does still look like Lee. But I felt that telltale was trying to make comparisons/similarities with Lee and Mike on purpose for the following reasons:
I do not think Lee and Mike are related, in any possible way.
And please, before you say ‘you’re black and you’re racist to your own kind’ like another obviously white person has stated before to me (which did give me a good laugh, because there’s no such thing. Yes there are some ignorant black people out there who say things, but that’s a totally different post for a totally different time, but it does not make them racist it makes them ignorant.), please let me say something.
I feel that white people, people that are clearly not a person of color, should not try to school others on racism. Only because, they have not experienced themselves. Yes you must have gone to school, and every February you learn about segregation and Civil Rights leaders and all that what not for twenty-eight days or less, maybe your school never touched on it, I don’t know. Yes you’ve probably heard of Trayvon Martin (and that’s probably the only case you know, and I’m not saying that to be mean, its just a fact because the other ones go unnoticed/forgotten like Sean Bell. Emmet Till, Amadou Diallo, Tim Stansbury just to name a few at the top of my head) and sat there in horror with most of the population when that piece of scum wasn’t found guilty of anything. But you have not experienced racism. You have not been called a name that was centered on oppressing your people (and no, cracker does not count, nor does vanilla ice), you have not been asked about your hair and ‘how does it do that’ or had it touched because its ‘so different’ and ‘fascinating’ or that it reminds someone of their poodle named Jacques, you have not been told that someone is going to take your black card away because you don’t like watermelon or that you don’t eat fried chicken, and no one has stared at you like you have two heads because you don’t listen to rap or your friend Penny asks you for some good rap artists but you don’t know any simply because you like indie and she proceeds to say that she’s blacker than you. Have you sat with your family and have an old white woman look at you with disgust and say ‘if they are eating here, I’m not eating here?’ Have you gone to eat at a restaurant but quickly pull out of the parking lot because someone has the confederate flag on the back of their car? Have you been at a birthday party, be the only black person there, and have your friend’s father say ‘WOW YOU’RE THE ONLY NEGRO HERE’. And let’s not even touch on the misrepresentation and lack of representation of black people in the media, let’s also not talk about how white republicans treat my black president Barack Obama.
Here is some recommended reading if you’d like to educate yourself. I am not just saying this to you, or trying to make you feel bad. I am trying to educate you and other people so you/they do not make this mistake again, and have someone come for your/their edges (edges are ‘baby hairs’ if you don’t get what I’m saying).
You have not been in a black persons shoes.
You have not experienced racism.
Therefore you do not get to call someone a racist when you really don’t have a first hand account of racism, or know what it is like to be black.
Awkward moment when bonneibennett and I went to the store and got the same ice cream and ate it at the same time frame, when we both live in different states. #twinning.
BY ACCIDENT EVEN
